Specific advantages of AVM RecoMax:
- Slanted seat design reduced the stroke angle:
a – Quick closing avoids water hammer
b – Low disc speed at closing point, means no slam - Large housing allows free flow and compensates for the negative effects of reduced stroke angle = result is the lowest head-loss for any check valve
- Lightweight disc design:
a – Very responsive low inertia disc allows fast closure
b – Full disc lift even at low flow rates, means low head-loss
c – Less lifting force means low head-loss
d – Low mass means low momentum in closure. This valve hence can be used even under the worst possible slam conditions - Proven design
- Suitable for both horizontal and vertical installation
- Optional limit switches. Can be either flow type, mechanical type or inductive type.
